Optimist - Trofeo Euromarina - Torrevieja ESP - Day 1

Yesterday, a 20kn+ breeze prevailed for the Optimists in southern Spain at the start of the Trofeo Euromarina. The fleet (430 participants), divided into 4 groups, finished three races each. ----- Marta Mansito ESP took the lead on equal points with Xuacu Garcia ESP, followed by Margaux Nguyen HKG in third place. The best Swiss is Eivinn Löfteröd SUI in 28th place, followed by Alina Durrer SUI in 71st. With the discard in effect tonight, Amédée Margueron SUI (121st place) and Lena Müller SUI (yesterday bfd/25/9) should also make it into the top 100. ----- The ranking list and the report.
