iQFoil Youth & Junior World Championships - Brest FRA - Day two

Yesterday, the first races were held in light winds at the iQFoil Youth & Junior World Championships 2025 in Brest, France, with varying numbers of competitors in the four categories U19W/U19M/U17W/U17M. ---- - In the U19 women's category, Medea Falcioni ITA leads after 3 races ahead of Zofia Zarzecka POL and Yfke Van der Meer NED. No SUI among the 53 participants. ----- The U19 men were able to hold a sprint race. Among the 8 winners and thus first in the rankings is Robin Zeley DRCS/RVZS. Eight SUI are among the 124 classified. ----- The U17W juniors completed two races and Tsz Yuet Cheung HKG is first ahead of Garance Chatelier-Daisay FRA, tied on points with Parla Kabaskal TUR (U15). Ernestine Inverson SUI is 10th among the 48 ranked. ----- After two races, Peyton Dits NED leads the U17 boys, two points ahead of Eitan Kately ISR and Merlijn Boswijk NED, who are tied on points. The best Swiss sailor is Raphael Kobel CNI in 21st place among the 118 ranked sailors.
