 Farr 30 - Sailing Arabia - The Tour - Muscat OMN - Final results The final 100 miles' leg of the Arbian Sailing Tour had again to be shortened at half distance due to lack of wind. 'Al Moudji' was leading at that moment and with this success, she advanced on rank 2 overall behind the defending champion 'EFG Bank Monaco' with Sidney Gavignet FRA winning for the third time in a row. The results have not yet been posted on the event website.

 Farr 30 - Sailing Arabia - The Tour - Sohar OMN - Day 12 After the lay day, the start to the final 100 miles' leg of the Farr 30 Arabian Tour from Sohar to Muscat will be given today. Light winds have been announced again, and with temperatures of up to 32°, summery conditions will stay on.
'EFG Bank Monaco' (Sidney Gavignet FRA) will no doubt defend her first place and repeat the last year's overal win. The undisputed 2nd-ranked 'Averda' with Marcel Herrera GBR will most likely keep this position as well.

 Farr 30 - Sailing Arabia - The Tour - Khasab UAE - Day 9 As we reported, leg 3 had to be shortened on Tuesday due to lack of wind. Meanwhile, the 9 teams have reached Khasab propelled by engine. Today, the start to the 140 miles' 4th leg to Oman will be given at 7h UTC. Winning leg 3, 'EFG Bank Monaco' with Sidney Gavignet FRA consolidated her lead.

 Farr 30 - Sailing Arabia - The Tour - Doha UAE - Leg 3 - Day 10 The fleet of the Arabian Sailing Tour stalled yesterday in the dying wind on the Arabian Gulf, and the key race (280 miles) of the event had to be shortened by the Race Director. 'EFG Bank Monaco' with Sidney Gavignet FRA booked another win. The teams are now motoring to Khasab, where the start to leg 4 is on the program tomorrow already.

 Farr 30 - Sailing Arabia - The Tour - Doha UAE - Day 6 - Leg 2 Yesterday, after 36 hours, 'EFG Bank Monaco' with Sidney Gavignet FRA crossed the finish line of the 160 miles' leg 2 to Doha as winner, and advanced herewith on rank 1 overall. 'Renaissance Services' with Fahad Al Hasni OMN as 2nd moved up on the 4th place overall. Today is lay day in Doha, tomorrow follow the InPort Races, and on Monday, the start will be given to the 3rd leg to Khasab in Oman, the longest with 260 miles. The news.

 Farr 30 - Sailing Arabia - The Tour - Abu Dhabi UAE - Day 5 - Leg 2 The 9 boats' fleet of the Arabian Tour is still underway this morning in the second 160 miles' leg to Doha. The light wind has further decreased and the average speeds are very low. With 45 miles to sail, the first boats will arrive in Doha by noon UCT. At the last checkpoint this morning, 'EFG Bank Monaco' with Sydney Gavignet FRA was leading one mile ahead of 'Team Renaissance' (Fahad Al Hasni OMN) and 'Averda' (Marcel Herrera GBR). 5 miles farther behind is 'Bienne Voile' with Lorenz Müller SUI as 4th.

 Farr 30 - Sailing Arabia - The Tour - Dubai UAE - Day 3 After initiating the event with the Dubai Inport Races, the nine teams of the Arabian Tour sailed their first leg from Dubai to Abu Dhabi. First were again 'Team Averda' with Marcel Herrera GBR, winners of the two Inport-Races. Obviously, they are the clear overall leaders ahead of last year's winner 'EFG Bank Monaco' with Sydney Gavignet FRA.

 Farr 30 - Sailing Arabia - The Tour - Dubai UAE The Arabian Farr 30 Tour began yesterday with a short 63 miles' coastal race from Dubai to Abu Dhabi. 9 teams, among them the favorites 'EFG Bank Monaco' with Sydney Gavignet FRA and an Arabian women's team with Dee Caffari GBR as helmswoman. Yesterday, three inport races were sailed in Dubai with 'Team Averda' (Marcel Herrera GBR) winning two heats on top of the rankings.
