Olympic Classes - Kiel Week - Kiel GER - Final results
Yesterday the Kiel Week ended with the medal races which were held in moderate winds. Tight decisions and a few changes of positions made for an entertaining day. With the win in the Medal Race of the 470s Men, Matthew Belcher / Will Ryan AUS managed to displace the previously sovereign Leader Anton Dahlberg / Frederik Bergström SWE and got the overall win. Bronze goes to Kevin Peponnet / Jérémy Mion FRA. There was also a change at the top of the 470s Women. Silvia Mas / Patricia Cantero ESP won the Medal Race and the overall ranking. Bozi / Klonaridou GRE and Böhm / Goliass GER finished 2nd and 3rd overall. In the 49er, Jonas Warrer / Jakob Precht claimed DEN defended their position at the top, followed by Alonso / Alonso ESP and Przybytek / Kolodzinski POL. Alexandra Maloney / Molly Meech NZL won the 49er FX event. Tina Lutz / Susann Beucke GER and Julia Gross / Hannah Klinga SWE follow in ranks 2 and 3. In the Finns Josh Junior NZL beat Anders Pedersen NOR. Ed Wright GBR had to settle for bronze. The the Nacra17 catamarans John Gimson / Anna Burnet GBR just held on to their first place overall followed by Jason Waterhouse / Lisa Darmanin AUS one point behind.
