Finn - Goldcup 2021 - Porto POR - Day 1 - Good start for Muller USA 6th and Ramshaw CAN 9th
Good first day for the North Americans at the Finn World Championship in Porto POR with Luke Muller USA (St. Francis YC), winner of race one, in 6th, and Tom Ramshaw CAN (Royal Canadian YC) in 9th. Juan Ignacio Perez MEX (Vallarta YC) is on rank 39 among the 52 participants. Three races were completed in an initial light wind, increasing to 13 knots during the day. -------------- Overall leader is Andrew Maloney NZL, the only one to finish all races in the top ten. Joan Cardona ESP follows one point behind. Zsombor Beresz HUN in 3rd is already 8 points back. ----- Some of the favorites have already fallen behind: Giles Scott GBR is 14th, Nicholas Heiner NED and Max Salminen SWE follow in 16th and 17th. ----- The rankings, the daily-report and the video-of-the-day.
