 Mini 650 - Les Sables - Les Acores - Les Sables d'Olonne FRA - Day 3 After almost three days of racing, the fleet passed Cape Finisterre at the north-western tip of Spain yesterday. Pierre Le Roy FRA (TeamWork) extended his lead in the Protos to 14 miles. Jacques Delcroix FRA continues to follow in second place. New at the top of the series minis now Julie Simon FRA, her lead over Hugo Mathieu FRA this morning is 4.4 miles. Still doing well Felix Oberle SUI in 20th place, his gap has grown to 44 miles.  Class 40, Figaro 3, IRC - Drheam Cup - La Trinité FRA - Day 4 Yesterday, the single-handed Ocean 50 trimarans finished their 1000-mile race with a thrilling three-way battle: Sam Goodchild GBR won with only 23 minutes ahead of Sebastien Rogue FRA. Erwan Le Roux FRA follows in 3rd place. The solo skippers hardly got any sleep in 4 days, impressive their descriptions of the hallucinations in the report. Basile Bourgnon/Robin Follin FRA won the Figaro 3 classification. ----- The Class 40 is now on target this morning with the leader Xavier Macaire FRA 57 miles short of the finish this morning. With 13 miles to go, Simon Koster SUI is now leading a close-knit chasing quartet in 2nd.  Class 40, Figaro 3, IRC - Drheam Cup - La Trinité FRA - Day 3 This night, the first boats reached the finish line in La Trinité: the line-honors went to the Multi 2000 catamaran of Oren Nataf FRA (with, among others, Sydney Gavignet FRA). 7 hours later, the Cookson 50 'Kuka 3' with Franco Niggeler SUI, and helmsman Mitch Booth AUS, followed as winner of the IRC-Mono ranking. Then in 3rd was the Ultime trimaran 'SVR Lazartigue' (with Tom Laperche FRA, replacing François Gabart FRA who was ill with Covid), which sailed the longest of the three courses. ----- Still around 350 miles to go for the Class 40 fleet, now making rapid progress with fresh aft winds. Xavier Macaire FRA (Groupe SNEF) and Emanuel La Roche FRA (Edenred) are tied for the lead, with Simon Koster SUI (Banque du Léman) following 9 miles behind in 7th. ----- Basile Bourgnon FRA (Edenred) continues to lead the Figaro 3, with Jan Scharnetzky SUI following in 6th. ----- The race tracker and the reports.

 Class 40, Figaro 3, IRC - Drheam Cup - Cherbourg FRA - Day 2 So far, the Drheam Cup, the 1500-mile race between Brittany and the Fastnet Rock, has been characterised by calm conditions. ----- The multihulls are already on their way back to France: In the lead is the only Ultime trimaran 'SRV Lazartigues' with Tom Laperche FRA. ----- The Multi-50 trimarans are close together, with 'Koesio' with Erwan Le Roux FRA in first place. ----- This morning, the Class 40 fleet is approaching the famous lighthouse, led by Xavier Macaire FRAr one mile ahead of Antoine Carpentier FRA. Simon Koster SUI follows 9 miles behind in 7th place. ----- Franco Niggeler SUI with his Cookson 50 is still doing well in 2nd place in the IRC ranking, only one mile behind Nicolas Groleau FRA. ----- There is also Swiss participation in the Figaro 3: Jan Scharnetzky SUI is 8 miles behind the leader Basile Bourgnon FRA in 6th place. ----- The Race-Tracker (at the top in the middle you can choose between the three courses) and the daily report.

 Class 40, Figaro 3, IRC - Drheam Cup - Cherourg FRA - Day 1 The start of the Drheam Cup took place yesterday in Cherbourg FRA in sunshine and around 15 knots of wind. After the first night, the fleet has already reached the south coast of England and will pass the western course mark, Wolfs Rock, today. Leading the way is the Multi 50 trimaran 'Rayon Vert' with Oren Ataf FRA. Just a mile behind is Franco Niggeler SUI with his Cookson 50 'Kuka' in 2nd best monohull. In the Singlehanded Class 40 Corentin Douget FRA is leading, Simon Koster SUI is 8th with 12 miles behind. The race tracker and the report from the start.

Class 40, Figaro 3, IRC - Drheam Cup - Cherbourg FRA - Start today

A total of 110 yachts, divided into 10 classes, will start today in Cherbourg for the Drheam Cup, a 1000-mile circuit starting in Cherbourg and finishing in La Trinité. With 37 solo skippers, Class 40 is the largest fleet, with Simon Koster SUI and his Banque du Léman among the favourites. There will also be a Swiss entry in the Figaro 3 with Jan Scharnetzky SUI - the entry lists. The start is at 14h, the race can be followed via GPS-Tracking. The preview.
