Kieler Woche - Part 2 - Kiel GER - Day 1

 Kieler Woche - Part 2 - Kiel GER - Day 1 The weather in Kiel remained summery with light winds on the first race day of the international classes. Two races were sailed in all classes. ----- Jean Glauser SUI took the lead with 1st and 2nd place in the ILCA 4, followed by Filippo Santi SUI in 5th place. ----- Heiko Kröger GER won both races in the 2.4m. Urs Infanger SUI is behind for the time being after an early start. ----- With 155 participants, the ILCA 6 has the largest fleet, including numerous participants who have previously competed in the Olympic section. This includes Monika Mikkola FIN, who is in the lead with two race wins. ----- All rankings, the daily report and the video of the day.

 Kieler Woche - Part 1 - Kiel GER - Final results Light winds yesterday for the Medal Races of the Olympic part of the Kiel Week. Given the sometimes large gaps, there were hardly any changes at the top: ----- Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA won the ILCA 7, Agata Barwinska POL took victory in the ILCA6. Maud Jayet SUI won the Medal Race and moved up to 4th place. ----- Frederik Rask/Jakob Precht took victory in the 49ers, while Pablo Rüegge/Linus Abicht SUI, sailing in a medal race for the first time, remained in 10th place. ----- Inga-Marie Hofland/Jill Paland GER won the 49ersFX. ----- Change of leader only in the mixed 470: Yehor Samarin/Yelyzaveta Vasylenko UKR moved up to the top spot at the end. ----- All rankings, the report and the video of the day.

Kieler Woche - Part 1 - Kiel GER - Day 3

Light winds also characterised the races in Kiel yesterday, it was only after some waiting time that the first races could be started, the 29ers and the 420s didnt sail at all. In the ILCA 7 Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA remained on top despite two mediocre races, with Hermann Tomasgaard NOR 3 points behind in second place. In the ILCA 6 Agata Barwinska POL leads 3 point ahead of Anna Munch DEN. Maud Jayet SUI had to abandon the first race of the day and dropped back to 17th place. In the 49er Richard Schultheis/Youenn Bertin MLT have taken the lead, Frederik Rask/Jakob Precht DEN follow 2 points behind. Pablo Rüegge/Linus Abicht SUI follow in 17th place of the 44 teams. In the 49erFX, Inga-Marie Hoffmann/Jill Paland GER already have a 19-point lead. Alexis Pariat/Simon Mille SUI follow in 15th place. Moderate winds prevailed yesterday at the start of the Kiel Week. In the first part of the week, the Olympic Classes and - with large fleets - the 420 and 29er junior classes had been scheduled. ----- In the ILCA 6, Maud Jayet SUI has taken the lead with the ranks 1 and 4, followed on equal points by Adriana Penruddocke BER in 2nd place. ----- In the ILCA 7, Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA won all 3 races in his group. Finn Alexander AUS and Lorenzo Chiavarini ITA followed in 2nd place with equal points. ----- In the 49ers, Tytus Butowski/Borys Podumis POL, Richard Schultheiss/Youenn Bertin MLT and Frederik Rask/Jakob Precht DEN share the lead on equal points. Pablo Rüegge/Linus Abicht SUI follow in 11th place of the 44 teams. ----- In the 49ersFX, Anna Barth/Emma Kohlhoff GER are in the lead. Alexis Pariat/Simon Mille SUI are 15th, and Stach Vleeshowers/Matthieu Mille SUI 18th. ----- In the 470, Laura Puproski/Thorsten Schlüter GER lead. ----- In the 420, Hannes Wehrle/Finn Meichle GER won all 3 races. ----- In the 29er Euro-Cup Ewa Lewandowska/Krysztof Krolik POL won three times.
