The 6mIJ European Championship began at the French Atlantic Coast yesterday in sun and light winds with two races.
First in the Open Division is Patrick Monteira De Barros POR ahead of Rainer Suhner SUI and Philippe Durr SUI. In the Classics, Eric Jesperson CAN - Star-Olympia-Medalist 1992 - won both heats of the day. The retired King Juan Carlos ESP follows on rank 2.
