Olympic Worldcup 2016 - Weymouth GBR - Day 3

Light winds prevailed also on the third day of the Weymouth Olympic Worldcup Regatta, and a reduced program only was sailed.
The 470 men completed only one race with Luke Patience/Chris Grube GBR as winners, taking the overall lead ahead of Fantela/Marenic CRO and Fock/Dackhammer SWE. Winners of the day in the 470 women were Carrie Smith/Jaime Ryan AUS, moving up on rank 4. Sophie Weguelin/Eilin McIntyre GBR are now the sole leaders one point ahead of Hanna Mills7Saskia Clarke GBR, and another point on Linda Fahrni/Maja Siegenthaler now on 3rd.
Two races were sailed by the 49ers with Dylan Fletcher/Alan Sign GBR on the ranks 1 and 2, taking the overall lead. Przybytek/Kolodsinski POL are 2nd, Dunning/Simpson NZL 3rd. No races for the 49ersFX, where Ericson/Klinga SWE are leading after the opening day.
In the Finns, the sole leader is Ben Cornish GBR ahead of Giles Scott GBR and Max Salminen SWE. The Nacra 17 sailed two races, and Paul Kohlhoff/Carolina Werner GER replaced Luke Ramsey/Nicola Gierke CAN on top.
With two bullets, Toni Wilhelm GER took the lead in the RS:X men windsurfers, while Peina Chen CHN continued with her flawless series in the RS:X women windsurfers with two race wins. Isobel Hamilton GBR follows on rank 2.
