IMOCA Open 60 - Transat Jacques Vabre - Le Havre FRA - Day 2

The fleet reached Cape Finisterre this morning in continuing fresh winds of around 30 knots. ----- The rough conditions have already led to numerous repair stops: For example Isabelle Joschke/Pierre Brasseur FRA, Damien Séguin/Laurent Bourges FRA and also Oliver Heer/Nils Palmieri SUI (with damage to the rig) had to turn around and head for safe harbours. The Swiss will resume the race today. ----- Jérémy Beyou/Franck Cammas FRA with their 'Charal' are still in the lead. Yoann Richhomme/Yann Eliès FRA have moved up to second place, 25 miles behind. Justine Mettraux SUI/Julien Villion FRA are also on the advance, having moved up to 4th place 51 miles behind.
