Today, both groups will finish their qualifications for the semi-finals, with the top 3 advancing to the next round. Group B of the Women's America's Cup was in action for the first time yesterday. With initially light winds that later freshened, 4 races were sailed as planned. ----- Thanks to two race wins at the end of the day, 'Jajo-Sail' with the 49er Olympic medalist Odile Van Aanholt NED took the lead. However, the gaps remained small: Spain's 'BCN' with Silvia Mas is only 3 points behind, followed one point back by 'Team Australia' with Olivia Price AUS. 'Team Germany' with Tina Lutz had a tough time, coming 6th and already 17 points in arrears of a semi-final place. ----- Group B continues tomorrow, with another 4 races to complete the qualification. The first 3 teams are through to the next round. However, the wind forecast is very light at 4-7 knots, so it remains to be seen whether it will be possible to sail.
