In inconsistent conditions with rain and 6 and 15kn wind, all classes were in action yesterday. ----- In the Mixed 470, the German teams were convincing: Luise Wanser/Philipp Autenrieth GER lead one point ahead of Malte and Anastasiya Winkel GER. Yves Mermod/Maja Siegenthaler SUI started furiously with a 2nd race rank, but then had to accept a 22nd place and are 22nd. Linda Fahrni/Cyril Schüpbach SUI follow in 32nd. ----- There are two races in ILCA 6: Marit Bouwmeester NED leads one point ahead of Charlotte Rose USA. With 8th and 4th places in her group, Maud Jayet SUI is 10th, and Anja Von Allmen follows in 40th of the 106 competitors. ----- In ILCA 7, the veterans have taken command: Tonci Stipanovic CRO with a one-point lead over Michael Beckett GBR, another point behind is Matthew Wearn AUS 3. As the best Swiss in the fleet of 184 participants, Gauthier Verhulst SUI is 102nd, and Matteo Paulon SUI follows in 108th place. ----- In the Nacra 17, the Nacra 15 World Champions Axel Grandjean/NoĆ«mi Fehlmann SUI have made their debut: With ranks 25 and 6, they are 30th in the fleet of 50 teams. Gianluigi Ugolini/Maria Giubilai ITA and Vittorio Bissaro/Maelle Frascari ITA are tied in the lead. ----- Kévin Fischer/Yann Chauvin FRA won both races of their group in the 49er. Bart Lambriex/Floris Van de Werken NED follow 4 points behind on rank 2. The two Swiss teams are in the midfield: Joshua Richner/Nilo Schärer SUI are 36th, and Sébastien Schneiter/Arno De Planta SUI follow on 45th of the 97 teams. ----- In the 49ersFX, Olympic veterans were surprising: tied at the top are the 470 Olympic Championne Jo Aleh NZL (with Molly Meech NZL) and Paris Henken USA with ILCA 6 Olympic gold medallist Anna Tobias-Tunnicliffe USA! In third place Marla Bergmann/Hanna Wille GER. ----- There were three races each for the Kite-Foilers. In the men's race, Jannis Maus GER and Toni Vodisek SLO are tied on top, followed 2 points behind by Axel Mazella FRA. Gian-Andrea Stragiotti SUI also started well in 29th place, so he is still ahead of co-favourite Maximilian Maeder SGP (with Swiss roots), who is behind for the time being with ranks 1/dnc/2. ----- In the women's race, Poema Newland FRA is one point ahead of Katie Dabson GBR. ----- In the iQ-Foil windsurfers, only the women were in action: after 4 slaloms, Sharon Kantor ISR leads by two points over Emma Wilson GBR. ----- All rankings and the daily report.
