ILCA, 29er, 420 - Christmas Race - Palamos ESP - Day 2

Fresh northerly winds in the morning, calm at midday and a moderate 12 knots in the late afternoon...a varied day for the 4 classes. The ILCAs were able to finish two races each, 420s and 29ers only one each. ----- Thanks to a race win, Alessio Cindolo/Sara Valente ITA took the lead in the 420. The Italians hold the first 6 places in the fleet of 109 teams! ----- In the 29ers, Szymon Kolka/Bartosz Żmudinski POL took the race win and ousted Antonina Puchowska/Alicja Dampc POL from the top spot. Ikke Huber/Liam Berger SUI moved up to 4th place. ----- Bruno Römer ARG maintained his lead in the ILCA 4. Joan Camats ESP closed the gap to one point. Leanne Turanne SUI one point behind also remains in the race for victory! Yann Van de Vyver SUI had to accept an early start and is now 11th. ----- Andrii Verdysh UKR has taken the lead in ILCA 6, and Ulysse Raison SUI is 4th and thus the best U17 Junior. Viktoria Jedlinska SUI is 17th and 2nd in the women's classification. ----- All rankings and the report.
