 Moth - World Championship 2016 - Hayama JPN - Final results, Diaz de Leon USA best NorAm on 9th Light winds prevailed on the last day of the Moth World Championship in Japan, ... so light that only one race could be completed, again won by the specialist Robert Greenalgh GBR. His direct opponents finished 2nd and 3rd and therefore, the podium remained unchanged with the Laser Olympic Champion 2008 Paul Goodison GBR taking Gold 3 points ahead of Chris Rashley GBR on Silver and another point back Robert Greenalgh GBR earniing Bronze. Victor Diaz de Leon USA is 9th, Brad Funk USA 25th and Andrew Brazier CAN 45th among 67 participants from 12 nations.

 Moth - World Championship 2016 - Hayama JPN - Day 5 After two windy days, the breeze at the Moth Worlds in Japan was down to moderate yesterday - 8-10 kn - ideal for Robert Greenalgh GBR who dominated as on the opening day with the ranks 1/2/1 advancing on position 3 only 5 points behind the still leading Paul Goodison GBR. On rank 2 with a 2 points' backlog remained Chris Rashley GBR. Two crucial final races are on the program today. Victor Diaz de Leon USA is 9th,Brad Funk USA 25th and Andrew Brazier CAN 45th.

 Moth - World Championship 2016 - Hayama JPN - Day 4 Lay day at the Moth Worlds in Japan yesterday. 9 races have been completed up-to-now mostly in windy conditions. Today and tomorrow, three more race per day are on the program. The decision for the title will most probably be between Paul Goodison GBR and Chris Rashley GBR only one point behind. Adriano Petrino SUI is on the remarkable 13th place among the 66 participants.

 Moth - World Championship 2016 - Hayama JPN - Day 3, Diaz de Leon USA 9th A fresh breeze and big waves keep the thrill up at the 2016 Moth World Championship in Japan. Three races were completed yesterday and a leader change occurred as Paul Goodison GBR - ranks 1/1/2 - reclaimed the first place, just one point ahead of Chris Rashles GBR. Another contender for the title is still Scott Babbage AUS on rank 3 with a 7 points' deficit. Victor Diaz de Leon USA is 9th, Brad Funk USA 42nd and Andrew Brazier CAN 46th. Six races are left on the program.

 Moth - World Championship 2016 - Hayama JPN - Day 2, Diaz de Leon USA 8th The Moth World Championship 2016 in Japan continued yesterday in a 20 kn breeze and big waves, too rough conditions for a third of the competitors caring also for their tiny, fragile skiffs. The elite drivers however presented an exciting spectacle. Man of the day was Chris Rashley GBR moving up on top with the ranks 1/1/2. Paul Goodison GBR on 2nd only one point behind remains in the figh for the title. Scott Babbage AUS advanced on rank 3 with a 6 points' backlog. Robert Greenalgh GBR, leader after day one, was forced to omit the first two races of the day due to equipment failure, but he came back with a race win in the last race. Victor Diaz de Leon USA is 8th, Bran Funk USA 39th and Andrew Brazier CAN 47th among the 66 participants from 11 nations.

 Moth - World Championship 2016 - Hayama JPN - Day 1, Diaz de Leon USA 8th The Moth World Championship in Japan began yesterday with three races sailed in a light 5 to 10 kn breeze. The Brits dominated the scene with Robert Greenalgh GBR and Paul Goodison GBR jointly on top of the rankings. Chris Rashley GBR follows 5 points behind on the 3rd place. Victor Diaz de Leon USA is 8th, Bran Funk USA with a DNC race 30th and Andrew Brazier CAN 54th among the 66 participants from 11 nations.
