Optimist - Lake Garda Meeting - Riva ITA - Day 1 - Nations Trophy

As is tradition, the Opti-Meeting on Lake Garda began yesterday with the Nations Trophy: one participant from each country is at the start: after 3 races, Andrea Demurtas ITA secured Italy the home victory ahead of Diego Delgado PUR and Nathan Montebello MLT. Dimitri Wälchli SUI followed in 16th place out of the 33 competing nations - the ranking. Today is the start for everyone. There are 825 participants at the start - the event website.
