Yesterday, the first Act of the Laser French Mediterranean Championship 2017 began in Hyères FRA in a fresh Eastwind around 18 kn. All three classes completed 2 races each.
Félix Baudet SUI has taken the interim's lead in the Lasers 4.7 with two race wins. Tom Lepiece FRA is 2nd, Theo Peyre FRA and Leonardo Finazzi SUI follow on rank 3 at equal points. On the 5th place is Rosine Baudet SUI as best girl among the 34 participants. In the Lasers Standard, the French Olympian Jean-Baptiste Bernaz FRA is on top with two bullets. Loic Queyroux FRA and Etienne Le Pen FRA are the first chasers among the 26 participants from 2 nations. The largest fleet with 86 starters are once more the Lasers Radial with the women dominating the races. Mathilde de Kerangat FRA leads ahead of Marie Barrué and Pernelle Michon FRA.
