IMOCA Open 60 - Vendée Globe 2016/17 - Day 38

The leading duo heading for Cape Hoorn is sailing in a decreasing breeze, while the trio on the ranks 5 to 7 is now shaken by a storm front with windspeeds exceeding 50 kn. Jean Le Cam FRA staying on a straight course profitted the most moving up on rank 6, only 50 nm behind Jean-Pierre Dick FRA. The leader Armel Le Cléac'h FRA was 240 nm ahead of Alex Thompson GBR this morning. Rich Wilson USA is now on the 17th place.
