No racing on the second day of the Melges 24 Worlds due to lack of wind, but nevetheless, important changes in the overall rankings occurred. After protests, the Jury reinstated two alleged premature starters, among them Michael Goldfarb USA, who took the overall lead ahead of Andrea Pozzi ITA and his team.
