J/70, Melges 24 - Bacardi Cup Invitational - Miami FL, USA - Day 1

Yesterday, the J/70 and Melges 24 Classes joined the Bacardi Cup with three races held on Biscayne Bay in a 14kn breeze with gusts of up to 20kn. ----- In the J/70s, a trio has already some distance on the rest of the fleet with Travis Odenbach and his team on top, 3 points ahead of Joel Running, Excelsior, MN, and John Brim, Palm Beach, FL another point behind. ----- In the Melges 24, four boats have a slight advantage with Bruce Ayres, Newport, CA, and crew leading Travis Weisleder, Richmond, VA, by 3 points.
