Good first day for the North Americans at the Finn World Championship in Porto POR with Luke Muller USA (St. Francis YC), winner of race one, in 6th, and Tom Ramshaw CAN (Royal Canadian YC) in 9th. Juan Ignacio Perez MEX (Vallarta YC) is on rank 39 among the 52 participants. Three races were completed in an initial light wind, increasing to 13 knots during the day. -------------- Overall leader is Andrew Maloney NZL, the only one to finish all races in the top ten. Joan Cardona ESP follows one point behind.
