Inconsistent winds made for difficult conditions in the Bay of Rio yesterday, but again two races were sailed. ----- In the Open classification, Lucas Freitas/Victoria Back BRA maintained their lead despite a poor race (28th place). Lysander Winter/Constantin Bötsch GER moved up to 2nd place. Joe Leigh/Joshua Ferrissey NZL, as best of the day with two 3rd places, moved up to 3rd overall. Ioannis Tournis/Georgios Michalopoulos GRE are the best U17 team, moving up to 13th place thanks to a 2nd place finish. ----- In the women's event, Iakovina Kerkezou/Danai Giannouli GRE took the lead with 1/2, two points ahead of Joana Gonçalves/Gabriela Vassel BRA and Paula and Isabel Laiseca ESP, who are level on points. Valentina Steinlein/Lea Adolph GER are still in 6th place. ----- All rankings and the daily report.
