The French Olympic Week 2019 in Hyeres was concluded yesterday with the Medal Races sailed in moderate winds. ---- Matthew Wearn AUS was the outstanding dominator in the Lasers Standard and winning the Medal Race as well, he distanced Sam Meech NZL finishing second 33 points behind ! In the fight for Bronze, the Olympic Champion Tom Burton AUS replaced Luke Elliott AUS on 3rd by one point. The rest of the fleet sailed a sail-off race. Charlie Buckingham USA lost one place and finished on rank 13 overall, Christopher Barnard USA remains on the 19th place. ---- In the Lasers Radial, Tuula Tenkanen FIN succeeded to reclaim the first place against Maria Erdi HUN. Emma Plaesschart BEL finished on rank 3. Paige Railey USA, 2nd in the Medal Race, remained on 8th overall.
