470 - World Championship 2024 - El Arenal ESP - Day 2
Thursday, February 29, 2024
The inconsistent offshore northerly winds continued to characterise the action on the Bay of Palma yesterday. The qualifications for the final regattas in Gold and Silverfleet were completed with two races each. The Japanese, who are contesting their internal Olympic selection, continue to dominate: Tetsuya Isozaki/Yurie Seki JPN are still in the lead, now with a one-point advantage over the title defenders Keiju Okada/Miho Yoshioka JPN. Simon Diesch/Anna Markfort GER are a further point behind in third place. Yves Mermod/Maja Siegenthaler SUI had a harder time, dropping back to 21st place after two midfield finishes, but are still in the gold fleet. ----- The ranking list and the daily Report.
